[winter walk]
At the end of our crescent there's a little pond (which locals call a lake) in a treed park. I love this spot as there are lots of trees so our new area feels a little older and worn in.
Besides a few others walking, there was a cross-country skier and a family toboganning down a small hill. Now this feels like Canada.

[views from the car]
Driving home from uni I always catch myself marvelling that I'm here. In Edmonton. Living and working back in Canada. It feels amazing. And, as many of you know, I'm seldom without my camera, so I find myself nabbing shots when at a red light or waiting my turn at four-way stop.

[wedding!!]
I couldn't resist putting a personal note up here on the blog about our wedding which took place on Saturday the 13th of June. We married at Vineland Estates Winery in Vineland, Ontario (in between Toronto and Niagara).
We had an amazing photographer Judy who has already put a few photos up. I've added some to our wedding blog but here are a few tasters too:

This one of us in the car is my favourite!! My idea of a yellow mustang convertible didn't quite work out but Judy saved the day by letting us borrow her own convertible!! What a woman eh?!
***Am loving my bouquet!***

Isn't that background amazing? Tuscany or Vineland?

I love how Judy framed Steve's head in the triangle of the wine boutique:

This was a moment of pure relaxation! Wonderful!
Check out Keith's fab grin!

Judy knows me well....convertible lover AND shoe lover! Great way to bring the two together! (Along with my little piece of England - I got the shoes there!)

[meg and sam come for mayday!]
Niece and nephew, Meg and Sam Pawley, came to visit us for Mayday celebrations in our village! Aside from the amazing procession and pub burgers we had lots of fun running around, climbing trees, playing Frisbee and climbing the stairs!

And yeah, I'll probably be one of *those* mums who takes pictures of everything....
